Commodity Trading Assistant – Vegetable Oil Trading

This position is responsible for providing primary support to the assigned location in execution of contracts, rates and coordinating logistical support for commodity shipments by rail, truck or barge.

Full-time or part-time potential for this roleThe job (just the basics):Assists with intermediate accounting functions and execution of logistics in support of the MerchandisersProvides customer support including resolution of problems and discrepancies, as well as building relationshipsReview and assist in the collection of accounts receivable as needed. Identify aging accounts and partner with Trader to reconcile in a timely fashionProvide logistical support for commodity shipments by rail, truck or barge

Minimum Qualifications & SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Associate’s or higher degree preferred3+ years relevant experience requiredAbility to work independently and be self-motivatedAn ambitious spirit to help drive personal, team, and company growthStrong attention to detail, ability to gather and analyze information10 key and data entry experienceMinimal travel required
